I'm sharing the 5 most important questions Renée and I ask each other every week.
If you want to avoid relationship 'auto-pilot' and take your relationship to a whole new level, this is the resource you need!
This article is right-on! I’m a young single Catholic woman and especially the first one is SOOOO true. Also, we love it when y’all look nice and wear sharp clothes. Loving babies, although not mentioned, is another bonus.
Haha, thanks so much for your comment Teresa! It’s definitely a topic that my female friend who did the guest post felt strongly about, so I’m glad the article resonated with you. Hopefully there are a few young Catholic men reading who are taking notes!
I also struggle when it comes to dating Catholic men. I feel like many of the Catholic men in my circles prefer women to be submissive and fall in line with their wants and needs.
“Stay at home, raise the kids, as the man I have the final say on everything, no need to raise your voice, and please don’t be a tomboy.”
I exaggerate a bit, but it has become an honest reason why I hesitate to date Catholic men. I don’t want to have to give up who I am to fall in line with their idea of feminine holiness. I want decisions we make about our family to be our decisions. I prefer compromise rather than one person having the final say.
Keelin, thanks so much for your perspective! Sorry to hear that those are the expectations of some of the Catholic men in your circles. I don’t think we should ever have to give up who we are just to fit into someone else’s idea of who we should be!
Really good list!
Thanks so much Marion! Glad you enjoyed the article. As a Catholic guy it’s so good to get insights like this from young women!
